Regardless of socio-economics, public safety remains one of the top concerns for New Yorkers everywhere. Xavier has built relationships across all levels of government to bring sensible reform for our community's safety.

Xavier's Results for the 68th District:

• Create better community relations between stakeholders and the 23rd, 25th Precincts and PSA5.

• Called for and supported balanced legislation to foster criminal justice reforms that create a safer environment for our families.

• Worked with the willing elected representatives to propose immediate actionable steps at the district level, including the 125th Street Corridor.

• Collaborated with stakeholders, legislators and agencies for common sense legislative changes.

Xavier’s Commitments in the Assembly:

• Invest in community policing and programming that fosters healthy community relations.

• Advocate for funding to the family courts so that diversionary programs may be implemented to protect our youth.

• Advocate for criminal justice reform that brings directed, informed and essential balance to the judiciary process and hold people accountable for their actions.

• Advocate for reforms that allow us to stop larger organized crime rings that are the catalyst for fentanyl epidemic.

• Implement science backed programs that stop the drug-crime cycles.
